The film is the second in an ongoing series, produced by The Oakdale Cowboy Museum, directed by Kevin Fox; released on DVD in an effort to share the western legacy and tell the story of the many ranchers and rodeo cowboys who made Oakdale known as the “Cowboy Capital of the World. "The release of this film documents an important part of Central California history and celebrates the accomplishments of these local rodeo legends” says Museum Board President Doug Murdock. The Camarillo family, who came to Oakdale in the mid 1960’s, could fit most of their life possessions in a pickup truck and a two horse trailer but they came to this small Central Valley town to live their dream. Soon they would become one of the most recognized names in rodeo history. The Camarillos knew from an early age that rodeo was the game they were going to play. Time and time again they raised the bar achieving the sport’s most coveted titles and becoming the fiercest competitors in professional rodeo. They revolutionized the sport of Team Roping with their passion and commitment to the sport. To this day, they are still Changing the Game! This feature documentary film takes an inside look at where and how three legendary professional rodeo athletes began their careers and the drive that led them to become rodeo superstars. Rare family photos, home movies, commentary from Director of Communications for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Kendra Santos, and Legendary Rodeo Stock Contractor, Cotton Rosser bring you the true inside story. This authentic and candid look at the life of the Camarillos includes interviews with Leo, Jerold & Reg Camarillo, each telling their own story.
